| Tossa de Mar known since the roman period, in that was called Turissa. The Tossa bay has a fortified mediaeval precinct, the Vila Vella, in a small promontory in full beach with seven circular towers, its origin in the 12th century is loved to avoid the attacks of pirates. Inside it the rests of a church and the palace of the governor of the 14th century. Near the precinct there are the archeologic finds of the one that was a roman town of the 4th century, the roman town of Els Ametllers.
